So, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, does it make a sound? So, if I go for a run and blog about it and no one reads it, does it matter? Probably not. Sometimes I think I bore everyone with my antics. Why is my running important to anyone else? It's not. I just feel like I want to stay accountable. If I told everyone at the end of the year that I had ran 1000 miles or any other number it would not have been a very powerful statement. "So what?" you'd say! I am trying to keep myself heading to my goal. I tell you so you can reinforce that to me as well.
So, it was a completely busy and lazy day. A late night before, lazy morning, a run to town, play date, and then supper. Hubby took the kids with him and it meant I had a half hour. No time like the present. It is starting to get darker and darker in the evening which does suck. There are no kind words for winter approaching. I ran. I know it is a good run when the dog is following behind me, and not doing her normal bounding up and down through the ditches in front of me. She is getting a good work out as well. I got 2.8 miles in and when I was coming home the family was just pulling in the driveway. Good timing.
Thanks to all for inquiring and being supportive in my challenge. It helps alot. It drives me forward on days I don't want to do it. I need you. So, thanks for being there for me. Na zdorov'ya! What does the title mean? In Ukrainian, a toast "to your health" while you clink glasses full of vodka. We celebrate everything!
Na zdorov'ya to you!
